Going to jail...

Relax parentals, none of us got arrested (yet), but we did jump on the ferry to Alcatraz for our first official bit of touristy stuff. Very cool, if you ever go, get the audio tour with the headphones, very cool way to do it. As we arrived at "The Rock" there was a very light fog building, and by the time we left, the fog was that thick you couldn't see 5 meters in front of you.

You don't make friends with salad...

So after competing in what seemed like some sort of "Burgerthon" since arriving in the states, I did something I never thought I would do, order something from the salad menu. After leaving a night club here in San Fran that I can only describe as the very very ugly sister of Melbourne's Icon Bar from another Galaxy, we dropped in to a late night food spot. I didn't want to do it, but in the famous words of R. Kelly, my mind was telling me no, but my body was telling me yes. A chicken salad was ordered... I've changed...

I'm so Hollywood...

Dressing up to go out in Hollywood is pretty standard, paying extra money to skip the line at the club is pretty standard, tipping the waitress a few extra dollars to get those drinks a little stronger is pretty standard, getting kicked out of the club and falling asleep in the hotel room doorway, that's Doing It Live...

Santa Monica...

So we took a drive in "Van Damme" down to Santa Monica, very cool place. Checked the Nike store, boys picked up some stuff, checked out the pier, took some photos, by this point we were all very hungry. We were trying to find somewhere for dinner, somewhere classy, upmarket, something to give us a bit of a different selection from all these burgers we have been eating. We came across this one place, and all prerequisites went out the window, as you can see...

Tip This...

So it seems you have to tip every single person here in the states, it costs you a dollar every time you want to go to the toilet! Saw this guy dressed as a Transformer so thought it was a good photo op, pose like a champ, get the photo, cost me 2 dollars.

First NBA game I've ever been to, cross town rival, and it went down to the final shot. As you can see, we lost our shiz...

Let Me Upgrade You...

Beyonce must be one of the "Do It Live Tour" gods, because we were upgraded. Thanks Jigga's wifey. For the Clippers v Lakers game we were meant to be in the 300 section, at the very top, but our good friend Ashley at the Clippers hooked us up in the Press seating. Staples Centre is bananas.
