Blowing up our room...

So we arrive into NYC, get to our apartment fine, love the area, love the rooms, everything is good. First thing we need to sort though is the heating. It seems to already be on. It's some old school piping system that goes throughout the entire building. You cant turn it off in one of the rooms and it has a slight hissing. Fordey and myself are trying to go to sleep night one, and the hissing is building and building. Next thing we know it's a full blown noise and we think, nah son, not putting up with this, so we start to attempt to fix it. One thing leads to another, and the valve flies off and our room start filling with boiling steam. Awesome. We manage to get the valve back on, but no sleep until 7:30 am.
